I was worried it’d be too cakey or wouldnt blend well since it’s a full coverage powder but it’s pretty great! I’m looking forward to trying some more of her products & I hope the rest of her line becomes completely vegan soon. I’ve been using her Lock-It powder foundation in shade Light 42 & I have to say I’m actually really surprised by how much I like it. Kat Von D– Now this brand is still very new to me & I’m still figuring out if I love it or hate it. If you ever been wanting to try a higher end brand, this would be my first suggestion. They’re perfect for that fun pop of color. I’ve also been really impressed with their melted liquid lips(not pictured). I’ve tried quite a bit of their products & haven’t been disappointed with anything yet! Right now I’ve been scrounging any last bit I can from their Natural Eyes palette. Unfortunately though, they’re not 100% vegan but they are at least completely Cruelty Free. Too Faced– Easily one of my most favorite brands so far. If you’ve ever needed a good brow product, this is your brand. I never have to worry about my brows smudging from sweat or water & can even wear it for days at a time(sorry but I’m a gross human being). I use the Dip Brow Pomade in medium brown & hell yes this is the best damn thing in the world. Now for the more expensive/higher quality brands.Īnastasia Beverly Hills– The most trustworthy brow product I’ve ever used is from this brand. I really enjoy this brand & they also happen to have the same lab that makes the Kylie Lip Kits so they have a much cheaper dupe for each shade in case you’ve been having trouble getting a hold of those products. This brand also happens to be fairly cheap but is only available online so things tend to sell out quicker. Their products have a very unique formula & can be a little awkward to work with at first but once you get it, you love it. I currently use their bronzer in the shade Paradise Cove & their highlight in the shade Spoon. While not everything on their site is vegan, it is all Cruelty Free. Definitely an amazing brand to have in your collection.Ĭolour Pop– This is a newer but ever expanding brand. The quality of their makeup just keeps getting better & the price never changes which is incredible. I currently use their liquid liner pen, gel liner(applied with pencil to my water line), their matte lip color, & my new favorite: the baked highlight. They’re cheap & easy to find which makes it that much easier to switch from non vegan makeup. So with being vegan, makeup is sometimes a hard corner to come around so I thought I’d share with all of you my current favorites & some of my opinions on certain brands.Įlf Cosmetics– I absolutely love pretty much everything from elf. I literally could not be happier with this purchase & I highly recommend it to anyone just starting out with learning to contour of for those that like powder over cream. No more searching to the ends of the earth or dropping wads of cash on high end almost cool toned bronzer. But the best part, is the dark contour color. It works so well for hiding under eye circles & bags, as well as working as a shimmer highlight. The shades are amazing & very pigmented, almost too pigmented if that’s possible. I’ve had problems with some of their older powder products looking a little patchy once applied but either they’ve really stepped up their formula or I’ve gotten a lot better with my application. Not in this instance though! Right down to the very packaging this feels like a very luxurious product but only cost me $6!! Now don’t get me wrong, Elf really is an amazing vegan brand but they’re also extremely cheap in price which can sometimes(in my opinion) stunt the quality of the overall makeup. I couldn’t think of what to write about this week so in keeping with the beauty topic I thought I’d review something I’m actually kind of blow away with! The Elf Contour Palette.
